Red Herring Fall 2005: Overview

The bulk of the world's commerce is generated by small- and medium-sized businesses. In technology, much of the innovation and economic growth is created by modest-sized public companies that fly below the radar of market analysts, the news media and investors. Yet, these mostly unheralded companies are the barometers for new opportunities and challenges in the global economy. That is why Red Herring is creating a list of the 100 Small Cap Companies to highlight these promising companies and the people who drive them.

Red Herring's Fall 2005 conference will bring together these dynamic listed companies, leading technology executives, important investors, and influential analysts to share their insights and predictions. They will explore the trends and technologies that will drive growth and profits in 2006. The conference is an invitation-only event created to help CEOs and senior executives get ahead - and stay ahead -- of the relentless wave of progress in the technology sector.

The two-day conference encompasses a wide range of valuable presentations, from executive keynotes to roundtable discussions. A full menu of corporate presentations will provide attendees access to some of the brightest and most promising small-cap public companies in the U.S. and other countries, including China, India, Japan, the U.K., Germany and Israel.
