Call for speakers — Nominate a C-Level executive of your company for one of the following session types:
Keynote Address
The keynote address is a platform where an industry luminary presents his/her company and vision in the general session. The speech is generally followed by a short interview with a member of Red Herring’s Editorial Board where each individual will be given roughly 30–45 minutes total. Keynote speakers are the cornerstone of the editorial content at Red Herring events. Past Red Herring Keynote speakers have included industry icons such as Bill Gates, Larry Ellison, Al Gore, and Michael Dell. Red Herring East will feature approximately four to six Keynote speakers.
Roundtable Discussion
Three to four times throughout the event, several of the most important topics in the technology industry will be discussed in a keynote panel format in front of the general audience. Moderated by a Red Herring Senior Editor or a member of the steering committee, this 45-minute interactive session will be a lively debate with roughly three to five industry experts discussing the current climate, future outlook, and lessons learned for the most controversial, entertaining, and pertinent topics to senior executives in the technology sector.
Further, and at various times throughout the event, breakout roundtables (much like keynote roundtables) will create a platform to discuss the leading topics in the technology ecosystem. Hosted in a more intimate atmosphere and a more segmented group, these breakout roundtables will run in parallel tracks of two or three, feature audience participation, and showcase a handpicked panel of experts always armed with an extremely insightful, wide range of views. Breakout roundtables sessions run between 45 - 60 minutes.
Past topics have included a focus on Web 2.0, Security, Telco, Wireless and VoIP, New Media and Marketing, APAC, M&A and Venture Capital, among many others.
Corporate Presentation
Selected companies are invited to present in our breakout Corporate Presentation sessions. Presented by the leader of the company (Chairman, President, or CEO), Red Herring Corporate Presentations are a platform for privately held technology companies to display themselves for:
- business development and partnerships
- financing
- marketing opportunities
Corporate presentations run between 10-15 minutes and have proven to be a springboard for many companies in the past. Millions of dollars have been invested in companies that have presented. Companies such as Business Objects, NVIDIA, Checkpoint Software, and Salesforce.com which are public today can trace their roots to Red Herring Corporate Presentations. Corporate Presentations run in parallels of two to three. At Red Herring East, Corporate Presentations are exclusive opportunities for East Coast-based technology companies.
